Bette Davis (Ruth Elizabeth Davis)(1908-1989) American actress, whose electrifying and commanding screen presence made her one of the most highly rated film actresses. Her films include Of Human Bondage (1934), Dangerous (1935), Jezebel (1938), the latter two earning her Oscars, The Little Foxes (1941), and All About Eve (1950).
